Kathleen Wheeler Crump (Maryland/Wisconsin/District Of Columbia/Canada, 1884-1977) glazed ceramic equestrian sculpture depicting two riders on horseback playing polo, the blue rider holding a polo mallet. Signed on the top of the base "K. Wheeler". 9" H x 8" L x 5 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Margaret Harold Roberts, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
CONDITION: Overall light scattered glaze exfoliation and wear, especially on edges of sculpture. Jockey wearing blue jersey with losses to hat brim and tip of right foot.
