Peter Tereszczuk (Austria, 1875-1963) patinated bronze sculpture depicting a female lute player with carved face, neck, and hands clothed in Medieval-style chaperon and dress with foliate decorated bodice seated upon a plinth base with the string instrument upon her lap. Signed with monogram and "P. Tereszczuk" to base. Inscribed "H79" to underside. 7 5/8" H x 3" W x 4 1/8" D.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Margaret Harold Roberts, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minute scattered surface scratches, primarily to base. Carved face with hairline, measuring 7/8" L.
