Large Native American Acoma polychrome pottery olla having stylized black and white geometric designs including bird’s head to the body with a polychrome burnt orange base and interior. 13 1/2″ H x approx. 14 1/2″ W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
CONDITION: One stabilized hairline emanating from the rim, approx. 2 1/4″ L, and one stabilized hairline to shoulder, approx. 2 1/2″ L. Chip to the rim, primarily to the interior, approx. 1″ W. A few scattered, very shallow fleabites to the rim interior. Overall light wear to the surface with some scattered abrasions and overall grime to the surface.
