Rockwell Kent (American 1882-1971) signed wood engraving entitled Starry Night and depicting a woman before a partially opened door and beneath a starry night sky, 1933. From the edition of 1750 published by the Literary Guild of America. Signed "Rockwell Kent" in pencil, lower right. Ref.: Burne-Jones 103. Housed in an ebonized wood frame with ivory mat. Sight: 7 1/2" H x 5 1/2" W. Frame: 16 1/4" H x 12" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Richard J. Eskind, Nashville.
CONDITION: Very good condition. A richly inked and evenly-printed impression. Not examined outside of frame.
