Biography: Greg McHuron is known for his plein-aire paintings depicting the terrain and wildlife of the American West. He earned a degree in art from Oregon State University and studied extensively with Conrad Schwiering. He was named Wyoming Artist Association-Artist of the Year in 1999 and In January of 2002 he was the Artist In Residence at the National Wildlife Art Museum. McHuron’s work has been profiled in “Wildlife Art News”, “Southwest Art”, and “Art of the West”, and his paintings are in the collections of the National Wildlife Art Museum, Jackson, Wyoming; Bennington Center for The Arts, Bennington, Vermont; Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming; Leighton Foundation, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
