Gorham sterling silver 20-inch serving platter, pattern #A6682, having scalloped banded edges and lobed well. Monogrammed "LWG" to rim. Inscribed "1908" and stamped with maker's mark, Sterling, pattern number, 20 IN, and date mark for 1907 to underside. 14 5/8" H x 20 5/8" W. 67.150 troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with scattered surface scratches and wear commensurate with manner of use. Tray is monogrammed.
