1st item: Asian porcelain vase, mounted and wired as lamp, elongated baluster or yen-yen form with handpainted mountain and lake scene, with blue lotus and scroll design at neck and base. Mounted in a carved hardwood stand. Vase 17 1/2" H, overall 38 1/2" H. Chinese or Japanese, late 19th to early 20th century. 2nd item: Chinese monochrome porcelain vase, mounted and wired as lamp, baluster form with golden yellow glaze, mounted atop a pierced gilt brass base. Vase 12 1/2" H, 28 1/2" H overall. Provenance: Estate of Mrs. Mary Ann Bowers Thomas, Athens, Alabama. Condition: 1st item: Base appears to be drilled, otherwise very good condition. 2nd item: Scattered tiny firing flaws and glaze pops, a couple of minute abrasions, no cracks. Needs rewiring.
