Finely detailed carved ivory figurine of Quan Yin (Kuan Yin) holding a vase and lotus, on a lotus carved pedestal. Signed on base. Excellent condition, 6"H. Provenance: purchased by George Mitchell (co-owner of Mitchell's Candy Store,Nashville) during the course of several trips to China and Japan in the late 19th-early 20th century. Mitchell estate.
