Twenty (20) Royal Crown Derby "Gold Aves" pattern porcelain serving items, having 22 karat yellow gold hand-decorated birds of paradise and peacocks among flora with scalloped rims. Includes: sixteen (16) chop plates (round platters) (14" dia.); one (1) gravy boat (4" H x 8" W) with one (1) oval underplate (8 1/2" W); and two (2) oval vegetable bowls (9 3/4" W). All items with red Royal Crown Derby stamps to underside of bases. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Margaret Harold Roberts, Lookout Mountain, Georgia.
CONDITION: All items in overall very good condition with normal surface wear and some areas of rubbing/wear to decorations.
