Rembrandt H. Van Rijn (Netherlands, 1606-1669) etching, "Adoration of the Shepherds : with the Lamp" on ivory laid paper. Signed "Rembrandt F" lower middle left in the image. Label verso with reference information – State II/III, Bartsch #45, Hind #273. Etching having a sharp, dark impression with good contrasts. Float mounted and housed in a gilt wood frame. Plate – 4 1/4" H x 5 1/16" W. Framed – 17 7/8" H x 18 5/8" W. Circa 1654. CONDITION: Very slight toning to paper. Minor abrasions to frame.
