Two (2) Chinese Export Blue and White porcelain covered tureens. 1st item: Nanking lidded tureen, rectangular shape with canted corners, pagoda/riverscape design within a spearhead and diapered border, rabbit-head handles and leaf-form finial, 8" H x 13" W x 8 3/4" D (overall). Jiaqing Period, early 19th century. 2nd item: Hawthorne style covered tureen, oval shape, underglaze blue with phoenix in garden design, butterfly and lace border, rounded handles (both repaired) and leaf-form finial, 9" H x 12 1/2" W x 8 3/4" D (overall). Late Kangxi, late 18th century. CONDITION: 1st item: Overall very good condition. Firing flaw on corner of image on lid and 2 firing cracks on base. Surface grime. 2nd item: Both handles with repairs. Foot ring with repairs. Surface grime.
