Gilt-decorated porcelain demilune Bulb or Bough Pot with cover, unmarked, probably Derby. The central panel is decorated with a finely painted landscape with cows, surrounded by a frame of leaf-decorated panels. It is flanked on each side by neoclassical style painted "columns" and hand painted panels of paterae. The lid has three cups and four holes, all edged in gold and the pot is raised on four ball feet. 7 5/8" H x 8 14" W x 4" D. English, circa 1820. Provenance: Estate of Salli LaGrone, Franklin, Tennessee. Condition: Crack to top, small overpainted chip at lip, some wear to gilt, especially at feet.
