Twelve (12) English hand-painted and parcel-gilt porcelain table items. 1st – 5th items: Five (5) Coalport "Red Chrysanthemum" pattern items, including three (3) sauce tureens with lids and two (2) underplates. Unmarked. Majority of items with Christie's auction labels to underside of bases. Ranging in size from 1" H x 8 1/2" W to 5 1/4" H x 7" W. Circa 1810. 6th – 12th items: Seven (7) Royal Worcester bread and butter plates, having scalloped rims with green and gilt borders surrounding floral sprays. Purple Royal Worcester marks with seven dots, and Mortlock's, Oxford Street retailer marks stamped to underside of bases. 1 1/4" H x 7 3/4" dia. Circa 1898.
PROVENANCE: Private Knoxville, Tennessee collection.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with expected surface scratches and scattered firing flaws. 1st – 5th items: Areas of loss to gilt. Crazing. Two tureens and two lids with hairlines, largest 1 3/4", to undersides. One tray with filled chip to underside. 6th – 12th items: Chips, largest 1 3/4", to rims, including one plate with 1/4" x 3/4" area of green overpainting to loss; some areas of minor discoloration.
