Qing Famille Rose porcelain hexagonal form tea bowl or wine cup, the body with polychrome decoration of cockerel and chicken with chicks in a landscape setting amongst rocks, bamboo, and flowers, with butterflies overhead. The interior with bat, peach, bird, and floral polychrome decoration. Base with red six-character Daoguang seal mark to the base. 2 5/8" H x 5 1/4" dia. Chinese, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Deaccessioned by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Foundation to benefit the acquisitions fund.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with possible minor wear to polychrome decoration along the lower section of the bowl.
