Sterling Boyd Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board still life painting depicting a vase of flowers with a yellow-hued backdrop, all rendered in heavy impasto and sgraffito linework. Signed and dated “77” lower left. Housed in a gilt wood frame with black liner. Sight: 27 1/4 in. H x 21 in. W. Framed: 30 1/8 in. H x 29 1/8 in. W.
