Lucien Delarue (French, 1925-2011), "La Seine a Herblay," oil on canvas landscape painting depicting the French village of Herblay in the Ile de France region, with buildings including the town's distinctive bell tower and yellow-leafed trees overlooking the River Seine. Signed lower right "Delarue" and titled en verso. Housed in a silver leaf molded frame with white linen liner and gilt fillet. Canvas size: 13" x 16". Frame Size: 18 3/4" H x 21 3/4"W.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Dr. Ken and Linda Moore, acquired Lyzon Gallery, 1988. The receipt is available to the winning bidder.
CONDITION: Very good condition with a few minor spots of yellowing to varnish and minor surface grime.
