Two (2) pieces Indian Silver, sterling quality and higher. 1st item: Round plate or dish with allover repousse floral design within an arched scalloped border, stamped T100. XRF tests 98% silver or higher. 11 3/4 in. diameter. 2nd item: Round pedestal bowl or compote with scalloped floral repousse border, which repeats on the domed foot. Side with engraved inscription: Mr. and Mrs. Ben K. Baer with Best Wishes from M/S. Gill & Co. (Private) Ltd. Bombay 19-4-67. Stamped SILVER to underside. XRF tests sterling quality (.925) or higher. Height – 4 in. 10 1/4 in. diameter. Combined weight 33.38 oz troy. Both items India, mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Eleanor H. Baer, Memphis, Tennessee (The Eleanor H. Baer Irrevocable Trust).
CONDITION: Both items overall very good condition. Small area of pitting to center of bowl.
