Cased Agent Marked T. & W. Harrison Adams Model 1851 Double Action Percussion Revolver, 45 caliber, serial number 30333B, cylinder number does not match. Top strap marked "T. & W. Harrison Carlisle", right side of frame marked "Adams' Patent No 30333B", left side of frame marked "Adams Patent 1851", standard British proof marks on cylinder. Walnut stock, octagonal barrel, iron mounted, compartment for caps in butt stock, standard sights. Housed in a standard British oak case with original green felt lining and inlaid brass escutcheon containing double cavity mold, cleaning rod, small flask, powder measure, nipple wrench, caps, and cast bolts. Barrel length – 6 1/2". Overall length – 12". Case – 2 1/2" H x 13 1/4" W x 7 7/8" D. Mid 19th century. Provenance: the collection of Benjamin Dysart, Brentwood, Tennessee. CONDITION: Mechanics are excellent. Bore is good. Frame and barrel retain 80% of fine blue. Serial number on cylinder does not match. Case and included items with wear to be expected from age.
