Pair of George II style giltwood mirrors, each with broken arch pediment surmounted by eagle, flanked by carved rosettes, foliate scrolls and birds, tassel and drape sides with foliate carved base. The left mirror appears to be early 19th century with possible 18th century elements, the right mirror late 19th/early 20th century. 56 1/2" H x 27 1/2" W Condition: Left mirror of an earlier period (late 18th/early 19th century) with old repairs and losses, restoration to gilding, replaced mirror. Right mirror with minor abrasions, replaced mirror, and possible gilding repair.
