Li Huaihui (Chinese, 20th century) oil on canvas painting of a Tibetan man on horseback, with a structure visible over the horizon. Signed in Mandarin lower left "Li Huaihui" and 94-10 for October 1994. Housed in a wood and gilt decorated frame. Sight: 23 1/4" H x 35 1/4" W. Framed: 30 1/2" H x 40 1/2" W. Artist Biography: Li Huaihui was born in Beijing and graduated from the Affiliated High School of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1965. He is a member of the Beijing Artists Association and his oil paintings have been have been published in numerous professional journals, and exhibited at home and abroad. He held a solo exhibition in the Netherlands in 1993.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Slightly uneven varnish; appears to be selectively applied in making.
