American Federal Pembroke inlaid table, cherry primary, poplar and pine secondary (possibly white pine). Consisting of a rectangular top with hinged-shaped leaves above a single, long dovetailed drawer with cock beading. Stiles with a reverse barberpole teardrop inlay encircled by line inlay extending down the tapered legs to cuff inlay on the feet. Oval brass pull appears original. Measures 33 1/8 in. L x 22 3/8 in. W x 28 7/8 in. H; 50 1/2 in. W open. Circa 1810.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Donna C. Rogers, Greeneville, TN.
CONDITION: Refinished, bruised indentation to the top, two contemporary triangular wooden corner supports added for the drawer underside. A couple of the cuff inlays old replacements.
