1st item: Southern stoneware pottery pitcher, possibly East Tennessee (Carter County) with cobalt slip floral spray decoration. 9" H. Late 19th century/Early 20th century. 2nd item: Western Pennsylvania stoneware pottery jar stenciled on the body MILLS & CO. DEALERS IN STONEWARE & C. 258 S. LIBERTY, PITTS. Interior with brown glaze. 9 1/2" H. Last Qtr. 19th century. 3rd item: East TN large oval figured wood dough bowl with handles, 4 3/4" H x 26 3/4" L x 13 1/2" W. 19th century. 4th item: Vintage PRIDE OF TENNESSEE SMOKING TOBACCO square wooden storage container with wire bail handle and nailed construction. 9 1/2" H x 11" W. Late 19th/early 20th century.
CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered chipping including to rim, spout, and base. Several hairlines noted including one running vertically from rim to base and radiating to each side of the body. 2nd item: Hairline with spiders to one side of body, otherwise overall good condition. 3rd item: Some wood shrinkage noted to one side, overall general and expected use wear. 4th item: some breaks to wood at top left corner with some scattered losses to one corner and rim. Missing the original lid or cover. A few areas of errant paint splatter.
