Twelve (12) English Georgian style dining chairs including two armchairs and ten side chairs resembling backstool forms. Each with Greek key or meander fretwork to seat rail and cabriole legs with acanthus knees and acanthus paw feet. Armchairs with wooden acanthus arms and floral embroidered upholstery. Side chairs with yellow-green velvet upholstery. Armchairs: 43 in. H x 26 1/4 in. W x 22 1/2 in. D. Side chairs: 41 1/4 in. H x 25 in. W x 21 1/2 in. D. Late 19th century/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of George Bradley, Lewisburg, TN.
CONDITION: Most upholstery with minor spots of staining or soiling. Two side chairs with marked staining to the upholstery. One side chair with 1/2 inch x 1 1/4 inch loss to side of foot. Minor abrasions and scattered scratches.
