1st item: Chinese export lacquer sewing table with gilt decorated black lacquer and chinoiserie designs. Comprised of a rectangular, hinged lift top, opening to a fitted interior with many of the original ivory sewing accessories, and resting on lyre supports and paw feet. Retains the original silk fabric basket. 27 1/4"H x 25 3/4"W x 17 1/2"D. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Chinese black lacquer bowl with scalloped rim and interior gilt figural landscape decoration. 2 1/2"H x 8 3/4"D. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 3rd item: Chinese black lacquer hinged box with raised and painted figural landscape decoration throughout the exterior. Felt lined interior. 2 1/2"H x 9 1/2"W x 6 1/2"D. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 4th item: Chinese black lacquer hinged box with paint decoration depicting men wrestling in an outdoor landscape setting. Red painted interior. 2 1/2"H x 8"W x 5 3/8"D. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Mary Beth Cranwell Montgomery Estate, Knoxville, TN. Condition: 1st item: Some damage,losses, and wear to lacquer finish and gilt, especially to top, lyre supports and stretcher. Breaks to some of the interior ivory items. 2nd item: Overall general wear, some losses to rim, craquelure to inside of bowl. 3rd item: Overall general wear to surface, losses to lacquer, especially top edge of box below the lid. 4th item: Overall general wear to surface.
