Chinese silk Mandarin style robe with pants, both with embroidered floral decoration, together with a pair of pink and green silk embroidered binding shoes. Robe measures 27" L. Pants measure 35"L. Shoes measure 5"L. Early 20th century. Provenance: Purchased by the consignor's great-great grandfather, Herbert Bliss, who traveled in China and Japan at the turn of the 20th century, after his service in the Spanish-American War. Condition: Some staining and tears to robe and pants due to general wear. Shoes with scattered light losses.
