Southwest Virginia stoneware jar, possibly Keys pottery of Washington County, Virginia, with cobalt decorated flower and leaves on both sides of the jar, impressed "3" near handle, indicating gallon capacity. Overall very good condition withmis-shapen rim. 3-1/4" H. Late 19th century. Note: A similar example sold in our April 19th, 2008 auction.
