Large Middle Eastern shallow sterling silver bowl. Beaded rim and wide repousse border featuring twin peacocks drinking from a chalice on a ground of meandering leaves, berries and vines, the center of the bowl with scrolling foliate and geometric decoration, all raised on three scroll-curved feet. The edge of the center is marked .925 with additional hallmarks. The bowl XRF tests sterling silver. 3 1/2 in. H x 12 3/4 in. Dia. 32.66 troy ounces.
