Antique Tabriz Persian medallion carpet, wool on cotton construction. Center with ivory, blue, and red medallions, foliate designs throughout, and seven primary floral and geometric borders. Woven in red, blue, salmon, and cream colors. 6 ft 8 in x 4 ft 4 in. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with some uneven pile wear to each end. Losses to the fringes on each end. Scattered minor wear and losses to each margin.
