Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Ensi carpet, wool on wool. Brown or dark brick red field with four windows, lower elem panel with archaic eagle design. Woven in colors of brown, dark red, blue, cream, and gold. 5 ft 8 in x 4 ft 9 in. Circa 1890''s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with even pile wear. Minor losses to each lower corner. Handmade denim hangers at top verso.
