Antique Yomud or Yomut Asmalyk Turkestan pendant-shaped weaving, wool on wool. The main field with stylized chevron design The top with elongated diamond designs. Woven in dark red, blue, brown, salmon, and cream colors. 3 ft 9 in x 2 ft 2 in. Circa 1875-1880.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Homemade denim hangers added en verso top.
