Two (2) Spanish Colonial carved, gesso, and polychrome-painted Santos figures, including a large male figure and a smaller crowned female figure, possibly from the Philippines, mounted onto a rectangular stand. Male: 17 in. H x 6 1/4 in. W and Female: 13 5/8 in. H x 4 3/4 in. W. Both 19th century or earlier.

CONDITION: The male figure has old losses, including arms and possible decorative elements to the belt, along with scattered losses to the paint decoration. The female figure is missing her right hand and thumb on her left hand, along with scattered losses to the paint decoration.
