Coin silver Agricultural Prize julep cup, slightly tapered sides with band of floral decoration at rim and foot, incuse marks E. & D Kinsey (Edward & David Kinsey, working ca. 1836-1850, Newport, Kentucky, and Cincinnati, Ohio) and "1856" on bottom; the sides inscribed Highland Co. Agl. So. Premium 1856. 2 3/4" H , 2.93 oz troy. CONDITION: Scattered small dents, largest 1/4", others much smaller; small rubbed spots along decorative bands at top and bottom edge where banded decoration meets; otherwise very good condition.
