Grouping of two (2) Paul Jacoulet (1920 – 1960) woodblock prints, both with pencil signature. Titles include “Le Chant Des Vagues. Ponape, Est Carolines” and pre La Danse, Celebes”. The first print housed in a black frame with linen mat, measuring 15 1/4″H x 11 3/4″W sight, 20″H x 16 1/2″W framed. The second print housed in a gilt wood frame with linen mat and measuring 16″H x 12 1/8″W sight, 22″H x 17 3/4″W framed. Both mid 20th century. Provenance: the estate of Mrs. Adna Godfrey Wilde, Jr. (Sara Joan Wilde), Colorado Springs, CO, acquired by the Wildes directly from the artist circa 1945 in Japan. Condition: 1st print margins slightly trimmed. 2nd print, overall very good condition.
