Antique Persian Tabriz silk prayer rug with central mihrab design on a light rust/red field, and three primary borders. Woven in pink, cream, blue, red, and light green colors. 5 ft 6 in x 3 ft 11 in. Last quarter 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Minor losses to the fringe on each end, otherwise overall very good condition.
