Antique Persian Tabriz rug or carpet, wool on wool. Large central medallion on a red ground flanked by ivory ground spandrels, with three primary borders, all over scrolling foliate design. Woven in red, blue, cream, green, and pink colors. 6 ft 10 in x 4 ft 11 in. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light even pile wear, and minor losses to the fringe on each end. Homemade denim loops en top verso for hanging.
