Room-sized Central Persian Kashan carpet, wool on cotton. Central medallion on a large red field flanked by spandrels to each corner, foliate and palmette designs throughout, all within three primary borders. Woven in deep red, blue, pink, green, tan, and cream colors. 170 in. x 123 1/2 in. 1st half 20th century.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, even pile wear, some minor wear to left and right margins, losses to the fringe on both ends.
