Two (2) late 19th-century rugs, both wool on wool, including a Turkoman rug with traditional gul designs and woven in red, blue, and cream colors, and a Persian tribal Qashqai rug with geometric central diamond and bird decoration to the center, woven in colors of red, blue, gold, and cream. 45 in. x 39 in. and 47 in. x 69 in.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Donna C. Rogers, Greeneville, TN.
CONDITION: Both rugs are in overall good condition with even pile wear, losses to the fringed ends, and some curling to the corners.
