Pair of European Neoclassical gilt-mounted black lacquer torchiere or plant stands. Oval molded tops supported on four tall curved legs with gilt metal ram’s head capitals and hoof feet, joined by a round under-tier at the center and by oval plinth bases, having scrolled mounts. 50 1/2 in H x 21 in W x 14 in D. Late 19th century.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Some cracks to lacquer at bases; scattered small spots of wear and chipping throughout.
