Grouping of three watercolor fraktur type drawings on paper, possibly East Tennessee. 1st item – Watercolor depicting yellow horse with painted red (poinsettia type) flowers over body, blooming tulips lower left corner. Undulating brown line borders with alternating red and green circles. This folded drawing opens to a full page with early 19th script verso relating to monetary transactions and involving Samuel, Georg, Daniel, and David Babb (The Babb family name is prominent in East Tennessee). 8 1/4" x 7 1/2" drawing. 2nd item – Watercolor fraktur of five red tulips sprouting from a heart base. Yellow vines and leaves. 5 3/4" x 7 3/4". 3rd item – Watercolor fraktur of three red tulips with brown polka dots and green/brown vine and leaves. Upper and lower border with light green and red band. 5" x 7 3/4". Attributed to Tennessee, 19th century. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: All with toning and minor stains. Horse drawing has tear to upper right margin.
