Signed en verso "Lonso Hording" with other partially legible writing. Painter identifies the scene to be of a Tennessee farm that he identifies as the "Corn & Shellcreek? Farm". He also states that he created this image at 83 years of age for his sweetheart from her description. Housed in a gilt painted frame. Sight – 17 1/2" x 21 1/2". Framed – 24" H x 28" W. Washington Co., TN collection. Condition: Some buckling of board. Overall grime. Newer gilt paint added to frame.
