English Regency Period Center Table, mahogany with oak secondary. Circular gray marble top with molded edge over a veneered and molded frieze and bulbous, hexagonal pedestal atop a tripod base with scrolled volutes, fan tips, and paw feet. 27 1/2" H x 38" Dia. British, circa 1815.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Richard J. Eskind, Nashville.
CONDITION: 19" crack to marble top (stable) along with some scratching and minor staining. The table itself is in very good condition with scattered restorations to veneer losses, primarily at corners and edges. A few minor nicks and abrasions to veneer. Lacking casters. Marble top is easily removable from base.
