English Regency mahogany pedestal breakfast or petite dining table, oval tilt-top with a wide satinwood band and narrow ebony banding to the outer edge; turned pedestal base with four splay legs, each with brass square plain toe caster terminations, brass locking hardware to the underside of the top. Stamped indistinctly to the underside "Country Of Origin England". Open: 28 1/2" H x 59 1/2" W X 35 1/2" W. Tilted: 64H X 39 1/2" W X 39 1/2"D. British, first half 19th century.
PROVENANCE: By descent in the historic Pinckney family of South Carolina.
CONDITION: Overall in good condition. Some losses to veneer edge to table top 2 3/4" L. Timber repair to two legs. Two areas of separation to table top edge. Light surface scratches throughout due to use.
