Carved white marble sculpture with painted accents, depicting a falcon perched on a rock with inset glass eyes, dark striations imitating a coat of feathers and painted talons upon a naturalistic base. Unsigned. 11 1/2" H x 4" W x 5 1/2" D. Early 20th Century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Some light surface wear. Beak with repaired break and one chip to corner of the mouth, 1/4" L.
