Convex mirror with sculptural frame in the style of Serge Roche (1898-1988), with painted and parcel gilt naturalistic carving of oak leaves, acorns and ribbons. Glass: 24" diameter. Frame: 31" diameter overall. Probably French, circa 1915-1945.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Richard J. Eskind, Nashville.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with scattered small losses (up to 1/2" dia.) and small shrinkage cracks to gesso, with a few areas of repaint. Some minor spotting to mirror.
