Antique Saryk Turkoman Ensi prayer rug, wool on wool. A red-ground central panel with prayer niche and geometric designs, flanked top and bottom by a wide inner border with geometric designs, all surrounded by eight primary borders. Woven in red, blue, and cream colors. 5 ft. 8 in. x 3 ft. 11 in. Circa 1890.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, minor wear to borders.
