Antique Persian Farahan Sarouk rug, wool on cotton, center elongated medallion on a darkened cream field on a larger shaped medallion with a navy ground, Scrolling foliate designs throughout. Woven in colors of red, blue, and cream. 43 in. x 61 in. Circa 1900.
CONDITION: Overall moderate pile wear with some knot-heads visible. Fading to colors and grime throughout. Old repairs to the center with losses to each fringed end. Fringed ends have been reinforced.
