Mid-Atlantic, likely Pennsylvania, walnut candle box. Consisting of a slide top with molded sides, a dovetailed rectangular box with one lower dovetailed drawer fitted with compartments, a molded base, and round-turned feet. Both the lid and drawer are fitted with iron latches. 7 3/4" H x 9 1/2" W x 14 1/8" D. First half of the 19th century.
CONDITION: Very good condition with older refinished surface.
