Two Arthur Glazier (Pennsylvania, 1928-2015) folk art / outsider art pendant portraits on repurposed wood panels.1st item: A half-length portrait of a man in white tie or evening dress, seated with the top of his chair visible behind his shoulders. Below him are three stylized birds within white circles. 2nd item: A half-length portrait of a woman who wears a bonnet and white collar while reading from small, red book. She sits in a chair, the back of which rises above her shoulders. Below her are three stylized pinwheels within white circles. Both signed "A. Glazier," lower right. Unframed. Both 32 1/4" H x 16 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Repurposed panels have scattered indentations and abrasions made prior to painting. 2nd item with minor separation, likely inherent, running vertically the length of the panel.
