Arthur Glazier (Pennsylvania, 1928-2015) folk art/outsider painting on repurposed wood panel depicting a stylized African American farm couple, the man depicted holding a chicken in his left arm while his right arm rests on his wife''s back. The woman is depicted holding yams in her left arm with her right arm extended outward and a butterfly above her. A spotted dog stands behind the man and a chicken stands beside the woman. Signed lower right "A. Glazier". Self-framed. 21 3/4" H x 17 1/2" W.
CONDITION: One circular area of loss to the right of the man''s head. Rubbing and losses to the margin of the board.
