Tenn.” Borders decorated with eagles, birds, potted flowers, foliage, and dogs carrying flags. The center field decorated with foliage motifs. 73″ H x 82″ W, including fringe. Late 19th century. The Maryville Woolen Mill Co. in Blount County, Tennessee operated from 1874 to 1906.
CONDITION: Previous repairs to center, largest approximately 1″ dia., and along edges, largest 13″ L. Scattered minor areas of wear and loss to fabric and fringe, and minor staining.
